Collective Consciousness in 3D

What does it mean to be 3D printed? Do we view ourselves and each other differently? Does looking at ourselves in 3D expose a new consciousness that was hidden? Part art installation, part documentation, part archival, “Collective Consciousness in 3D” is a probe project initiated by the Design Incubation Centre. The aim is to capture a 3D snapshot of who we are at this moment in time.

During the weekend of 15 & 16 March, we invited the public to come have themselves digitised in 3D using 3D Scanning Technology. The 3D version of each participant will be available on a website for viewing, downloading or 3D printing.
